John Sez: It wasn’t that long ago that I posted about Dr. Oz making the rounds on the TV news telling people how they should all go get their swine flu shot. The first alarm bell that rang in my head concerning Oz’s campaign to get people vaccinated was that he admitted during a news interview (video at bottom of story, or go here for the original post) that he would not be vaccinating his own children even though he was pushing for others to get the shot or to have thier children innoculated.

Now it has come out that this Oz character owns 150,000 option shares in SIGA Technologies, a vaccine technology company who’s stock is sure to rise with every vaccine given. To make matters even worse, he’s not just a shareholder of  SIGA, but he is a member of their Board of Directors, and has been since 2001.

To make a long story short: OZ has been seemingly using his position as a TV doctor with millions of viewers to convince people to get a vaccination to make money for him and his companies shareholders and not for the betterment of the health of those who listen to him.

This is absolutely disgusting. This man should have his license to practice medicine revoked immediately due to ethics violations. He is nothing more than an opportunist, a modern-day snake oil salesman whose greed has overshadowed his Hippocratic oath; he has put potentially hundreds of thousands of people’s lives at risk pushing a vaccine which is completely untested for safety FOR THE MONEY.

But what he didn't tell his viewing audience is that he holds 150,000 option shares in a vaccine company that could earn him millions of dollars in profits as the stock price rises. It is in Dr. Oz's own financial interest, in other words, to hype up vaccines and get more people taking them so that his own financial investments rise in value.

Evidence describing these facts was delivered to NaturalNews by a private investigator named Joseph Culligan (http://webofdeception.com/oprah.html#oz). That evidence includes an SEC document detailing how Dr. Oz. bought options on stocks for SIGA Technologies in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009. SIGA Technologies (stock symbol SIGA) is a vaccine technology company with many advanced developments whose success depends on the widespread adoption of vaccines. According to SEC documents, Dr. Mehmet Oz. currently holds 150,000 option shares on SIGA Technologies, purchased for as little as $1.35 back in 2005.

At the time of this writing, SIGA Technologies is trading at $7.10, making those options bought in 2005 worth $5.75 in profits today. If all the 150,000 options purchased by Dr. Oz. were exercised today, they would be worth roughly $180,000 in profits (they were bought at different prices, not all at $1.35). John Sez: A lot of information (and misinformation on both sides of the political aisle) is being bandied around about the so called health care reform bill passed (over the weekend after the sun went down no less) by Congress. It’s a HUGE stack of paper, and I’ll admit to only having read about a fifth of it so far, so I will reserve comments about specific parts of the bill. Having said that, I really do think that the whole thing is a political smoke screen which does very little of what is claimed by talking heads who get the greatest amount of television airtime.

I will admit upfront that I am a proponent of a full-coverage, tax dollar paid health care coverage system similar to what Europe has. Opponents of such an idea will point to some countries that have such a system and gripe that we’ll have long lines and many will not receive the proper care, but seem to forget that we are America and we need to find a way to do it better – to be the model for that kind of system, not just a follower of all that is wrong with such a project.

Others might say that it will cost too much in taxes and that Europeans are taxed more as a result, but think about how we are taxed already (let’s take an envelope as an example – the land the tree is on is taxed, the guy who cuts the tree down is taxed, the company which hires the guy is taxed, the fuel used to power the chain-saw is taxed, the chain saw is taxed, the people and machinery that turns the wood to paper are taxed, the person who ships the envelopes is taxed, the vehicle and fuel for the vehicle which ships the envelope are taxed, the person/machine/fuel/ink/adhesive which makes up the packaging for the box of envelopes are taxed, the store which sells the product is taxed, the people who work at the store are taxed, then the product is finally sold to a consumer who – of course – pays a tax on the item. And THEN we pay our income/property/business/state taxes. Hell, as a homeowner I even pay a frikkin STREETLIGHT tax for the one I never asked for which is sitting at the edge of my property hidden by a copse of trees which prevents it from shedding all that much taxable light– no joke) and it seems ludicrous that we cannot afford such a universal coverage plan. If we really are that short on cash in the treasury (and it seems we are) let’s stop meddling around in the Middle East/Africa/South America/Asia, bombing brown people, and stop funding anything in any other country – see, deficit solved and more for us.

It all comes down to this: regardless of what a great many people seem to believe, this is not a universal health care plan paid for by your taxes which will make sure that all Americans get proper medical treatment when they need to. Generally speaking, this is a program designed to ensure that you MUST purchase insurance, out of your own pocket in ADDITION to you tax contribution, from an insurance company (the same ones that have screwed us citizens all these years) for your coverage – failure to do so will result in monetary penalties (up to almost 3% of your income but no more than the total amount the package would cost you if you decided to purchase it) or even legal penalties (fines and imprisonment are mentioned) for those who ‘evade’ getting mandatory health care.

This is not reform or a universal (some call it ‘socialist’ health care package) health care, it is simply the legal mechanism the government is using to mandate that everyone must purchase insurance OR ELSE – then they can turn around and say, “ooooh, lookie, we got everyone health insurance”. All the other rhetoric about how the insurance companies hate it, and how it will cover so many people, or that there are death panels and so on are red herrings compared with the fact that this is nothing more than trying to build some sort of unwieldy contraption on a crumbling and shaky foundation and hoping the whole thing doesn’t collapse under its own weight until the politicos can figure out who to blame for the mess – pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, but look at all the pretty bells and whistles.

John sez: The lead researcher for Gardasil and Cevarix, Dr. Dianne Harper, has publicly come out swinging against the hype over those vaccines – and what she has to say is a bombshell of biblical proportions.

While speaking at an engagement which was supposed to promote the drugs, she claimed that the vaccines will not reduce the cervical cancer rates, that they have not been tested properly (especially for children under 15), and that she doesn’t understand why there is a need to vaccinate for HPV at all.

She added that she had been trying to get this information to the media, but that no one was willing (until now) to run with the story (gee, I wonder why).

When asked why she had decided to speak out against a marketed drug that she was largely responsible for creating, Dr. Harper replied, “I want to be able to sleep with myself when I go to bed at night”.

I greatly applaud the bravery of Dr. Harper; it takes a lot of guts to not only face down Merck (the maker of Gardasil), but the vaccine industry as a whole.

Additionally, this begs a whole new series of questions about exactly what the big pharma companies are trying to push on us, and why our government seems to rubber-stamp mandates disguised as laws (remember folks, there is no LAW anywhere in the US which says you or your children must take a vaccine for any reason) in order for us to be injected (or nasal sprayed) with vaccines which are not only probably ineffective but potentially life threatening.

Harper: Controversal Drug Will Do Little To Reduce Cervical Cancer Rates

Dr. Diane Harper, lead researcher in the development of two human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, said the controversial drugs will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates and, even though they’re being recommended for girls as young as nine, there have been no efficacy trials in children under the age of 15.

Dr. Harper, director of the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at the University of Missouri, made these remarks during an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2-4. Although her talk was intended to promote the vaccine, participants said they came away convinced the vaccine should not be received.

“I came away from the talk with the perception that the risk of adverse side effects is so much greater than the risk of cervical cancer, I couldn’t help but question why we need the vaccine at all,” said Joan Robinson, Assistant Editor at the Population Research Institute.

Dr. Harper began her remarks by explaining that 70 percent of all HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment within a year. Within two years, the number climbs to 90 percent. Of the remaining 10 percent of HPV infections, only half will develop into cervical cancer, which leaves little need for the vaccine.

Former Redskins cheerleader Desiree Jennings was a fit and healthy cheerleader up until two months ago when she got a seasonal flu shot.

Ten days after the shot she began experiencing flu like symptoms, followed by severe convulsions and black outs.

Now she can barely talk or walk and her life has all but been destroyed.

After seeing around 60 doctors, Jennings was eventually diagnosed with dystonia, a paralyzing neurological disorder that causes the muscles to relentlessly contract and spasm.

Bizarrely, increased physical activity causes her heart rate to decline, meaning she can run for hours, however, her resting heart rate is 90 and walking a few steps is exhausting and almost impossible. There is no cure for the disease and it gets worse over time.

John Sez: Dr. Oz (who has his own talk show on ABC from what I am told…I’ve never seen it) showed up on CNN, and spent almost five minutes waxing poetic about how we should roll up our sleeves and take the swine flu vaccination. Apparently, he recently took the shot in a much-ado-about-nothing type of segment on his show to illustrate how wonderful the vaccine is.

But watch the video below very closely: at about 4:40 (for those of you who may be short on time or want to get to the meat…but I would watch the whole thing from the start – it really builds the suspense) CNN’s talking head asks the doctor to convince her of the safety of the vaccine, and the shill in a suit answers the following: “I’m gonna get it, if that helps at all. But I’ll tell you my wife is not gonna immunize my kids”. So, Dr. Oz, you can go on TV and tell millions of viewers to roll up their sleeves for the sake of their health, but you can’t convince your own family to do it?

So that means that his wife thinks he’s a really crappy doctor, or that she (and he) knows something about the vaccine (or the reason why it’s being pushed so hard) that Dr. Oz is simply not willing to share.  Wonder what the price of selling his soul was?

John Sez: That number, according to a new study by the CDC, is quite scary enough – but it’s even more terrifying when the research revealed that 1 in 58 boys are stricken with the disorder. That’s just over 1% of the entire population of the US, folks.

We are, by far (only China comes close, with the rest of the world far, far behind in numbers of confirmed cases) the world leader in people with Autism - except for the Amish who are, for the most part, Autism free. This tells me that a reasonable supposition for the cause of this epidemic of Autism is something common to a large portion of the population (at least the portion which is ‘on the grid’, so to speak), something that people are exposed to every day which in turn effects  a certain portion of said people negatively.  I’ve narrowed it down to 4 potential roots:

1 – Something in the food supply (suspects are GMO crops or whatever they are feeding or injecting livestock with)

2 – Something in the water supply (suspect is fluoride – which is a highly poisonous  by-product of aluminum manufacturing, by the way)

3 – Something in the air (suspect would be the chemicals being sprayed into the air, commonly known as ‘chem-trails’)

4 – Vaccines

Strangely, with the exception of vaccines, no research that I know of has studies the effects of any of the above mentioned suspects on the population. And the majority of studies (including a report by Congress) seem to indicate that vaccines (specifically the mercury and squaleen in the vaccine) may have something to do with this epidemic.

On May 21, 2003, after a three year investigation, "The Mercury in Medicine Report" (click HERE for the entire report in PDF) was released by the House Committee on Government Reform, and stated in part:

"Thimerosal used as a preservative in vaccines is likely related to the autism epidemic. This epidemic in all probability may have been prevented or curtailed had the FDA not been asleep at the switch regarding a lack of safety data regarding injected thimerosal and the sharper eyes of infant exposure to this known neurotoxin. The public health agencies' failure to act is indicative of institutional malfeasance for self protection and misplaced protectionism of the pharmaceutical industry."

The Congressional report also said that the CDC, due to its "biases against theories regarding vaccine-induced autism," had chosen to fund researchers "who also worked for vaccine manufacturers to conduct population-based immunologic studies. . ." and stated:

"The CDC in general and the National Immunization Program are particularly conflicted in their duty to monitor the safety of vaccines, while also charged with the responsibility of purchasing vaccines for resale as well as promoting increased immunization rates."

And for those who are under the impression that they took the mercury out of the vaccines, next time you get a shot (or bring your children to get one) ask for the insert that comes with the vaccine and read the ingredience list…I think you may be surprised.

It is obvious that the cause of Autism cannot be ignored anymore, and that serious research needs to be done in order to find out what is causing the disorder. A good place to start would be the 4 things I mentioned…but considering that all of those thing are mandated or encouraged by the government (and industries which sign the paychecks of our representatives)or that the TREATMENT of Autism has the potential to be a huge money-maker, I have serious doubts that we will have any answers anytime soon.

About 1 in 100 8-year-old children in the U.S. have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, according to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention researchers who will be releasing details of their study later this year.

The rate -- significantly higher than the government's 2007 estimate of 1 in 150 -- is sure to make waves in the world of autism and beyond, prompting advocates and researchers to call for more research and more funding for services.

Calling autism "an urgent public health concern," CDC Deputy Director Dr. Ileana Arias said the agency considers the disorder "a significant issue that needs immediate attention."
