Robber had 'crisis of conscience'

A man who threatened a customer while robbing a shop in Belfast has been sentenced to seven years.

John Crumley, 22, of Lagmore Grove in Dunmurry, was one of two men who robbed Clifton Street petrol station in north Belfast in November 2008. Belfast Crown Court heard that within minutes of that robbery, the men entered a shop on the Antrim Road and held an imitation gun to a man's head. Crumley will spend four years in prison and three on probation.

Something my Uncle Ray posted a while back (which I admit that I stole).  My Aunt Maryann (the biggest Wayne Newton fan in the world…and the older I get, the more I understand why), My Uncle Ray (a face for the movies, a voice for radio, and all around nice guy), and my Aunt Sandy (who had me convinced that a little man lived inside her acoustic guitar to scare me off of messing with it when I was a kid) from 1959. 

 Unfortunately, both my aunts have passed, but they have left me with some of the most cherished memories of my child hood. My Uncle is currently enjoying his retirement (I hope!) and reminded me of why those memories are so good.
